Laboratorio de Visión Computacional
Descripción
El laboratorio de visión computacional fue creado en 2001. El principal interés es el desarrollo de nuevos paradigmas en visión computacional, así como la aplicación de técnicas de procesamiento de imágenes, aprendizaje de máquinas e inteligencia computacional para solucionar problemas de visión computacional y reconocimiento de patrones.
Sus principales líneas de investigación son: análisis de caras en imágenes y videos (detección, reconocimiento, tracking); detección y tracking de humanos; detección y reconocimiento de objetos y análisis de escenas; visión en robots móviles (auto-localización, tracking, SLAM visual); y desarrollo de interfaces humano-máquina y cerebrales de tipo BCI (Brain Computer Interfaves).
Equipamiento e instrumentos
Cámaras (espectro visible y espectro termal), sensores de profundidad (Kinect y Láser) e interfaces BCI. Computadores de escritorio y computadores para cálculo científico.
