Abstract: The Gemini Observatory consists of two 8.1-meter telescopes, Gemini North and Gemini South, located in Hawaii and Chile, respectively. Positioned strategically, these twin telescopes provide comprehensive access to both the northern and southern skies and stand as forefront optical/infrared tools for astronomers worldwide.

Join us for a colloquium on the Gemini Observatory, where we'll explore its capabilities and operational procedures. Learn how to prepare and submit your first proposal and navigate through data reduction using the DRAGONS software. Gain insights into the queue scheduling system and night-time operations. I'll also discuss upcoming instruments and advancements in the Gemini Program Platform. Whether you're new to astronomy or a senior researcher, this colloquium offers valuable insights into utilizing Gemini for your astronomical research.
