Seminario DAS: "Resources for science with the Rubin Observatory"

Abstract: The Vera C. Rubin Observatory will begin its Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) later this year. This talk will provide an introduction to the LSST and Rubin's image processing pipelines, and primarily focus on the science-ready data products and the data access and analysis tools provided via the Rubin Science Platform (to sign up for your account, visit ls.st/rsp-signup). We'll also cover alerts and brokers, documentation and tutorials, where to go to ask questions and get support, and opportunities for engagement and collaboration. Provided the wifi is cooperative, a live demo of how to access Rubin data will be included. There will be time for Q&A.
