The Global MBA will prepare you to become a change agent and lead organizations with a significant exposure to international businesses and the global economy.
The Global MBA's main distinctive points are: the most complete and highly selective admission process for MBA programs in Chile with several hundred of applications per year; a focus on excellence, diversity and meritocracy; a solid 7-month business foundation with courses taught by some of the top professors at the Industrial Engineering Department, a renowned leader in management and economics in Latin America; an intensive English plan to help our students achieve the required scores in standardized English tests, TOEFL or IELTS; an 8-month stay as exchange student in one of our top business school partners in Australia, Canada, China, South Korea, the United States and the United Kingdom; a 2-week study tour visiting companies, universities and other organizations in Asia Pacific countries; a final bimester at U. of Chile with elective courses in management, many of them are taught in English; a comprehensive scholarship and financial aid package to cover the program cost and living expenses for Chilean or permanent resident students, thanks to our strategic alliance with Minera Escondida and our partnership with CODELCO.
The Global MBA is aimed to executives and professionals with different academic and professional backgrounds with an interest in global management, aged 27 to 36, with at least 3 years of work experience. The dedication to this program is full-time. The English plan takes place in the mornings and the Global MBA classes are scheduled in the afternoons. Only students with the required TOEFL or IELTS scores are allowed to work in the mornings while they stay in Chile, if this does not interfere with their academic performance.
